Biz Talk Episode 9 - Experience and Perspectives

This week we are honored to hear the experience and perspectives of Black photographers from around the U.S.

Cassandra Plavoukos, APA LA board member and commercial portrait photographer specializing in dance, athletic, and fitness photography. Fueled by a lifelong passion for the visual and performing arts, her study of the formal, athletic, and whimsical nature of movement is integral to her commercial work and portraiture. cassandraplavoukos.com @cplavoukosphotog

Keith Major, New York City native with more than 30 years of experience and a roster of A-list clients including Sony Music, Colgate-Palmolive, Essence and Cosmopolitan, Keith has achieved his childhood dreams and established a sterling reputation as one of New York’s most talented and productive commercial photographers. keithmajor.com @keithmajor

Lynsey Weatherspoon, Lynsey is a commercial, portrait and editorial photographer based in both Atlanta and Birmingham. Capturing heritage is important to her and evident in such personal projects as portraits of former members of the Negro Baseball League, Ronnie the shoe repairman, the Gullah Geechee culture of the Sea Islands, and Birmingham’s historic Ensley neighborhood.
