Biz Talk Episode 11 - Productions During the Second Wave - moderated by Nader Khouri

Description: By now you may feel like you've learned all you can about Covid set safety. And now with the country in its second wave it's worth hearing from photographers who have produced shoots. Our panelists will discuss a range of client and non-client shoots photographing people & food/still life.

Christopher Malcolm - An award-winning fitness, lifestyle & activewear photographer/director based in LA. He has won awards from a number of prestigious institutions including PDN, APA, American Photography, IPA, and The Lucie Awards. Chris has created personal work such as his Live Your Love dance project & his Quarantine Stories self portrait project shot during the pandemic. He is also the founder & creative director of the online health & wellness site Boom Society.

Erin Kunkel - Erin is an award-winning photographer/director who works around the world & calls the foggy outerlands of San Francisco home. Known for being collaborative, optimistic, detail-oriented & inspired, Erin has a painter’s-eye for color, light and composition. Her emotive, light-drenched images have been awarded by Photo District News, Communication Arts & American Photography.

Matt Armendariz - Although it was a 20-year career as a graphic designer, art and creative director within the specialty foods world where he got his start, it was the photographic process that energized, thrilled, and motivated him enough to trade in his cubicle for a camera. Now as a photographer, he loves capturing the moment & story of food for a variety of editorial and advertising clients, cookbook publishers & publications.
